Hometown 4th
WE ARE GROWING OUR EVENT! Let’s celebrate America 250!!!
Bounce houses will be set up at the baseball/softball complex from 2pm - 7pm - sponsored by the Hughes Springs Chamber of Commerce and free for our community!
Starting at 7:30pm at the HSISD stadium, we will have a NON-motorized parade, and we are looking for the best decorated one! The community that is present will get to vote!
Following the parade award, sit and enjoy some local live music and concession by the Mustang Band Boosters.
The annual Hometown 4th Firework show is set for July 4th at dark - approximately 8:30p.m and scheduled to be held at the HSISD stadium.
Holiday on First Street
The annual Holiday on First Street and Cork and Fork will be held in downtown Hughes Springs on the Monday before Thanksgiving (4th Monday of the November) from 5pm-9pm. Vendors will line the street and set up inside The Legacy. Wineries will be located in various businesses for your tasting and purchasing. Downtown businesses will be open for shopping. Follow our FB page to see which vendors, wineries, and businesses will be participating in the evening! Advertisements will be posted closer to the event.
Christmas Parade
The Hughes Springs Christmas parade will travel from the HSISD parking lot to the Curtis Performing Arts parking lot.
Theme: TBD
Cash prizes for the floats, sponsored by the First National Bank, will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place floats. 1st Place: $250; 2nd Place: $175; 3rd Place: $50
Line up Times: Floats @ 3:45; All others @ 4:15
Christmas in the Park
The annual Christmas Tree lighting will be held following the Christmas parade at Spring Park. The trees are adopted and decorated by local businesses, organizations, groups, and individuals. They will stay at the park, lighting it up, the entire month of December. Community members are welcome to walk the park and visit the many trees. We also have a fan favorite voting that will take place the week following the Christmas Tree Lighting. Follow our FB page to vote on your favorite tree!
Crystal Globe Awards
Come celebrate an elegant evening recognizing deserving members and business of our community. There will be food, entertainment, and wonderful recipients - all included for the ticket price of $30.
Chamber Plant Sale
The annual plant sale hosted by the Hughes Springs Chamber of Commerce will be held during Wildflower Trails. We will be set up in the northwest corner, by the George Fite Bench. Stop by for all your planting needs!
The plant sale will be open from 9a.m. - 7p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.

Trunk or Treat
Hughes Springs annual Trunk or Treat is a great event for the whole family!! Come enjoy the games, costumes, snacks, and all the local businesses who have set up their TRUNKS with TREATS!
